Jewellery Repair Service

WATCHES & CLOCKS, old and new:

 

I have two companies who do this work for me. One for the new watches and one for the old watches and clocks. If fixable, they can be fully serviced and overhauled and are returned with a guarantee.

 
A £15 deposit pays for the watch or clock repairers time to quote on what needs repairing. If the quote is accepted, this fee is taken off the final price.

 

RESTRINGING necklaces and bracelets:

 

This jewellery repair service includes the replacement of many kinds of triggers and catches and the restringing of pearls, knotted or unknotted, as well as almost all kinds of beads and semi-precious and precious gemstones.

 

CHAIN and link repairs:

 

In all golds, silver and platinum.

 
Quotes are given once the chain has been examined and the metal verified.

 

RING RESIZING:

 
In silver, all golds and platinum. Most rings can be made smaller and larger. Rings that swing can also be sized to fit more comfortably.

 

JEWELLERY RESTORATION - old and new jewellery:

 

If you have inherited old jewellery that is not in good condition, my jewellers can restore it to its former glory. Reclawing old diamond rings, replacing the settings or finger shanks completely or just rebuilding worn areas are all parts of the jewllery restoration process.

 

Advice on the restoration of pieces is always given after a full examination from my goldsmith.

 

Pendants, bracelets and earrings can also be quoted on for similar restorative work or made into other pieces. (see Design)
    

STONE replacement and resetting of diamonds and semi-precious stones:

 

Almost all stones can be sourced, either semi-precious or precious. Matching lost stones or cutting them to fit a particular setting is also possible. From old cut diamonds to new, cabochon and faceted stones, all are available in most shapes and sizes.

 
Before any work is begun, quotes are always given and an explanation of what work needs to be done.
